This year it has been so great to be home with my mom and brother and sister-in-law. It is so true that you never know what you have till it's gone. I didn't realize, not really anyway, how much I missed them till I came home and hung out with them in person. It makes me feel really lucky that I like my family as much as I do. Not everyone does, as I am learning more and more.
It is also hard to find a balance sometimes. I guess what I mean is it's hard to balance my new life, fulfilling my responsibilities at school, and taking care of things I need to take care of, but also taking care of my family and spending time with them. It is something I am still figuring out.
This week, though, is all about my family! I am super excited to see some friends tonight at my 'unbirthday party,' play games with my extended family new years day, and see more friends next week. It's good to be home!
