Well all, today has been bliss! I have the house all to myself for 24 hours. Mom and dad are off for the weekend, Cory is at McKenzie's parents house, and Wade is on choir tour. Here is how my big day alone went:
I worked this morning...yuck. It was SNOWING (yes, in April), so the store was pretty slow.
When I got home, I made my self a yummy mug of hot chocolate (see this post for more about my hc addiction) and did some work on my paper.
Then for dinner I made the most delicious chicken for myeslf! All I did was throw a piece of chicken in a dish with a little olive oil, some cut up potatoes and carrots, a clove of garlic (whole), and seasoned it with some rosemary, thyme, and terragon. I baked it in the oven for about an hour and voila! Everything got crunchy and juicy. AND it made the whole house smell delish. I was pretty proud of myself.
Now I am watching Take Home Chef, and finishing up my paper. It has been, all in all, a great day.
